Fruit feast day 10

I started the day with durian. I really like it. Although it’s more savory than sweet, I think it’s a good way to start the day.


So the fresh jackfruit I bought yesterday was over ripe. Waste not want not, I added some to my mango coconut water smoothie.


The taste of the smoothie was odd to say the least. I swear it tasted like what I remember the smell of Kentucky fried chicken use to be. It was weird and disturbing. I won’t combine those fruits again. 

I had a dragon fruit for a snack. I have to remember to drink more water when I’m eating these lower water content fruits. I can tell the difference in my digestion when I don’t drink enough water. 

I had some pre cut fresh jackfruit I got from Whole Foods and a couple of pods of tamarind. I bought 2 Chinese melons to try for breakfast tomorrow.
